More House Info
So we made our last minute trip up to Massachusetts for the house inspection. We left Friday around 8pm, and drove well into the night … getting there around 5am. Whew. Immediately crashed for a few hours to try to catch up.
When we woke up, we were pleased to see that the sun was out and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We had been concerned that if it was pouring rain, they wouldn’t be able to do the inspection.
Worked out great. I’m not going into details here obviously, but things should work out OK.
After the inspection, we headed back to my sister’s house, where we crashed for a few more hours. Again, we left by 8pm, and made it back to our house by 4:30am-ish, which means we made better time on the way back than on the way up, which didn’t surprise me as we didn’t get bogged down in NYC the way we did on the way up.
We continue to be excited. While we were there, we snagged the missing pic of the front side of the house.
The next few weeks are going to be long. Wish us luck.
