Presentation: Adapting to Web Standards in the Enterprise
If you’re in the Washington, D.C. area on May 22nd, I’m giving a talk at the NavigationArts, LLC, offices on Web Standards. The title is “Adapting to Web Standards in the Enterprise”, loosely taken from the book that I helped write called Adapting to Web Standards.
I’ll cover the basics of modern best practices using HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, touching on Application Development, Content Management, and client-side performance tips for a large Web site implementation. The focus will be an organization moving to a modern approach after years of spinning their wheels in old school techniques.
If this sounds interesting, head on over to NavigationArts.com and register, it’s free! I also heard a rumor there may be some copies of Adapting to Web Standards floating around…
But, take it easy on me, I’m nervous!
